Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Principia29 LLC (“Principia29,” “we,” “us”), the company that operates Sixish. They govern your use of the Sixish iOS app and the sixishapp.com website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, using the app, or joining our early-access list, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter into a binding agreement. Sixish is intended for adults managing a household and is not directed to children. If you provide information about children in your household, you confirm you are their parent or guardian.

Accounts & Sign in with Apple

Accounts are created using Sign in with Apple, which is the only sign-in method. You are responsible for your device, your Apple ID, and the activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, Sixish grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial household use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.

AI-Generated Content

Sixish uses artificial intelligence to create recipes, cooking times and temperatures, ingredient lists, and dish images, and to estimate nutrition. This content may be inaccurate or incomplete. Images are illustrative, and nutrition figures are estimates only and are not medical or dietary advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing every recipe and verifying that ingredients are safe and that food is cooked to safe internal temperatures before eating.

Food Safety, Nutrition & Allergies

The dietary and allergy preferences you enter only guide the AI; they do not guarantee that a recipe is free of any ingredient, allergen, or cross-contaminant, and AI-generated recipes may include ingredients you intended to avoid. You must independently verify ingredients and preparation before eating. Never rely on Sixish to keep a recipe allergen-free or safe for a medical diet. Consult a qualified professional for medical, allergy, or nutritional needs.

Your Content & Community Contributions

You retain ownership of the content you create or import (“Your Content”). You grant Sixish a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, process, and display Your Content to operate and improve the Service. Some features add recipes to a shared community library shown in the Explore feed: recipes you import from a web or social link may be added (with their source attribution) when you save them, while recipes you import from text or photos, or enter manually, are shared only if you choose. You represent that you have the rights to the content you import or share, you can remove your contributions by deleting your account, and we may moderate or remove community content.

Imported & Third-Party Content

Recipes you import from websites or social platforms belong to their original creators, not Sixish, and are provided on an as-is basis with attribution to their source where possible. You are responsible for importing, using, and sharing such content in compliance with applicable law and the source's terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service unlawfully or to upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content
• Reverse engineer the app, or scrape, extract, or copy our prompts, models, or data
• Circumvent rate limits, device attestation, or other technical protections
• Make automated or bulk requests, or use the Service to build a competing product
• Misuse community features or interfere with the Service's operation or security

We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access for any violation.

Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how third-party providers and iCloud sync are used. Using AI features means content such as your pantry list, voice transcripts, and photos is processed by those providers.

Communications

By creating an account or joining our early-access list, you consent to receive service-related and early-access communications from Sixish. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time, or contact us at hello@sixishapp.com.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including the app, website, software, prompts, models, designs, logos, and Sixish-generated content, is owned by Sixish or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for Your Content, all rights are reserved. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service and all AI-generated content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any recipe, nutrition estimate, or suggestion is accurate, complete, or suitable for you.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sixish and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. In particular, Sixish is not liable for any food-borne illness, allergic reaction, injury, or other harm arising from recipes, ingredients, nutrition estimates, cooking times or temperatures, or any reliance on AI-generated content. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Sixish harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or content you import or share.

Termination & Account Deletion

You may permanently delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Deletion removes your server-side and on-device data, deletes your synced iCloud data, revokes Sixish's Sign in with Apple connection, and removes recipes you contributed to the community. Some anonymous or technical data may persist briefly as described in our Privacy Policy. We may also suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and intellectual property) survive termination.

Apple App Store Terms

Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and the license granted to you is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Usage Rules. These Terms are between you and Sixish, not Apple. Sixish (not Apple) is solely responsible for the app and its content, for providing any maintenance and support, and for any product warranties (to the extent not effectively disclaimed). Sixish, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and third-party claims that the app infringes intellectual-property rights. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo, and are not on any U.S. Government restricted- or prohibited-party list. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the revised Terms on this page and updating the date below. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Sixish operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction there, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Sixish regarding the Service.
