    Mealime closedOctober 21.

If Mealime was how your family planned dinner, Sixish is a good place to start again. It suggests meals from what is already in your kitchen and keeps one grocery list everyone at home shares.

    What happened

Mealime shut down on October 21, 2026. Albertsons, which bought it in 2021, moved Mealime’s recipes into Meals Hub, inside its grocery store apps such as Safeway and Vons.

Mealime had no export, so saved meal plans, grocery lists and settings did not come along. If you took screenshots of the recipes you loved, keep them. You can bring them into Sixish.

    Bring your favorite recipes

    1. From a link

Paste the address of a recipe page and Sixish reads it in, credited to the site it came from.

    2. From a photo or screenshot

Choose it from your camera roll, or take a picture of a cookbook page.

    3. From text

Paste a recipe you kept in Notes or a message, and Sixish sorts it into ingredients and steps.

Mealime had no export, so start with the five or six dinners your family asks for most.

    What Sixish does at dinner

Plan My Day in Sixish with breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack
    • Dinner from what you have

Keep track of your pantry, fridge and freezer, and Sixish suggests dinners you can make tonight, from Easy to Involved.

    • A plan for the day or the week

Plan My Day fills breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the week view shows what is coming up.

    • One grocery list for the house

Everyone at home shares it, sorted by store. Check something off and it goes into your pantry.

    • Food rules, set once

Allergies and how your family eats apply to every suggestion.

    • Recipes from food blogs

Search recipes from dozens of food blogs. Each one is credited and linked, and shows how much of it you already have.

    Questions, answered.

Will my Mealime recipes be in Sixish?

Not on their own, because Mealime had no way to export them. Bring in the ones you love from a link, a screenshot or pasted text, and they are yours to keep.

    What does Sixish cost?

It is free for everything except creating new recipes: your pantry, imports, Cook Mode and the grocery list. You get 30 recipes to start, then 10 recipes a month. Sixish Plus is $4.99 a month or $34.99 a year for unlimited recipes, and one subscription covers everyone in your household.

Can my partner and kids use it too?

Yes. The grocery list is shared with everyone in your household, and each item you check off shows who got it.

    Do I need an iPhone?

Yes. Sixish is an iPhone app.

    How do I get it?
